Fit the athlete
Account for goals, current ability, schedule, event demands, and preferred training approach.
Product story
The Hybrid Athlete System began as a way to organize Max's triathlon training, then expanded when friends and family asked to use it.
Weekly plans combine multiple coaching philosophies with actual performance, recovery, and athlete feedback.
The product
The system creates training sheets around the athlete, their event, available time, and current ability. Each week, completed work and feedback are reviewed before the next plan is produced.
That loop matters more than producing a generic schedule. Training changes when performance, recovery, confidence, or life changes.
What began as a personal tool became useful to other athletes with different goals and backgrounds, creating a broader product test without losing the individual planning approach.

Personal pilot
These are Max's personal results from one two-month training period. They are evidence of how the system supported his training, not a promise of results for another athlete.
What it proves
Starting with a real user and repeated use created a fast feedback loop for the planning interface, training sheets, weekly review, and adaptation logic.
Account for goals, current ability, schedule, event demands, and preferred training approach.
Use completed sessions, notes, and outcomes instead of assuming the plan happened perfectly.
Change volume, focus, and recovery based on what the athlete actually did and experienced.
That firsthand context can be a strong place to start. The first fit call is free.
